Caught 27, fishing on the bottom with plastic (the infamous green sparkle beetle with a red dot) in tandem. Tide switched and that was all she wrote. Good day, but damn hot.

went Sat and scratched up 30, but it was tough fishing, daylight till 230. water wasn't dirty, but wasn't clear either. was a dark green. would catch 5 or 6, then nothing, a few here, then nothing... had current moving all day. caught on gulp, chicken on a chain plastic cocahoes, white grubs, purple grubs, guess when they were there, they bit???

How about them gafftops though!!!

Another thing we noticed is no white trout all day. Think our first fish was a white after that not one. Strange for this time of year, like Gasper said water wasn't bad and had moving water but never could keep bit going for long.
