Running lights on console question

Is it legal for me to mount some running lights (green/red lights)on my console on a 20' bay boat? Thanks in advance.

I have running lights on my console it came from the dealer already set up like that years ago. I have been inspected several times by wildlife and fisheries and they never said anything about it so I assume its legal

Thanks. I didn't know if it had to be on the bow or not

As long as they are visible from 120 degrees they are legal

If you are buying LED lights for your console be sure they are legal. There are some that don't meet the USCG regulations.
