Anyone make it to the calcasieu this weekend? Just wonderin how high the water was and what it looked like? Thinkin bout making a trip tomorrow if conditions allow it!

I went and looked at the white oak launch. No wharf! Only the life ring buoy sticking up. Water was moving hard. The water actually had about a 6-8 visibility.

Thanks for the update....I ended up launching at Theriot rd and the water was deff moving hard! Water quality wasn't near as bad as expected!

How was the fishing on Calcasieu B.B

it was so much rain water it turned the rivers clear! The vermillion river also has a nice color to it, I was thinking about making a trip there once the water drops some. Right now it is still higher than I ever saw prior to this flood.
