Wildlife and Fisheries

Hey guys, its been about three years since I posted on here, so I hope I am in the right place.

Alright, to start things off, about two weeks ago I did my panel interview for Wildlife and Fisheries to become an enforcement cadet. Interview went well and whatnot, but that weekend that huge weather system came through. Haven't heard anything from the guys that interviewed me, but I did talk to the HR ladies a week ago and they said the whole training facility in Baton Rouge was flooded.

So basically what I am asking is if there are any Game Wardens or anyone on here that was also trying to get into the academy, if you guys heard anything or can shed some light on what is going on? Thanks.

they weren't even answering the phone in Baton Rouge last week.

flooded I bet. I got through easily to them this week.

remember, it's a gov agency, they do not rush.

I did the interview the 11th and the week after they were closed due to flooding. Finally they opened up HQ this past Monday. Monday around noon was the last time I heard anything from them. So either they have been backed up and not moved forward with the process, or I didn't make the cut. Either way I'd just like to know for my own personal benefit.

The wait is pretty darn agonizing.
