Salisbury Steak
Yesterday I decided to make Salisbury steak although I should just say hamburger steak but in keeping with the idea of the dish we'll stick with Salisbury. After seasoning the ground beef I seared the eight "steaks" on both sides. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09704.jpg The onions were browned and cooked down, mushrooms added and gravy made then steaks added back into the pan. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09706.jpg While that simmered to finish cooking I made a quick side salad. Mine. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09708.jpg Served with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09709.jpg This was really quite good and we should have this more oftern http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09710.jpg Mmmmmm........ http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09711.jpg |
I love hamburger steaks. I also love a good meatball stew.
