Where should I bring my Poulan chainsaw to have it tuned up?

It was free. Used reward points from a company award. I only use a saw 1-2 x per year so buying a high end one is not necessary. Just need to have the carbs cleaned and idle set. It worked just fine for me when it was running. It has set for about a year and just needs a bit of tinkering with. Any saw, whether it be a $150 saw or a $500 saw will need tinkering with if it sits for a year.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks but I think he just sharpens blades and chains. I'll call though just to make sure.

Make sure there is gas in it. It sounds like that might be your problem

Sometimes spraying a little "carb" cleaner [before and after it is running] can greatly improve how an engine runs.

Or try removing the air inlet filter, and see if it runs better.
