Big Lake 10/16/16

Foggy, foggy in am. Didn't get on the water till about 8. We took advantage of big tide and found them in some of our usual fall locations. Different water conditions throughout the estuary. Where we caught most good ones, tidal movement was key. Limit of trout and a couple flounder accidents. They were feeding good. No iffy hits. Nailing it. All on lil jons. 1/8 oz.

The NOAA tide graph that I look at is at the Cameron Jetties.

This one, although it does not give a tide prediction, is useful. I believe this device is somewhere around the Texaco cut area. Can anyone confirm that?

Correct, and below the title on that page it has lat/long coordinates for the data observation location. On this map it shows it if you zoom in:
http://maps.waterdata.usgs.gov/mapper/index.html

Then for tides I use the following website. At the bottom it shows map and you can choose cameron jetties, bulk terminal, or I-1O for BL:

Also, I use the realTide app which will triangulate your dropped pin to predict tides at that spot
