Well made the 12 hour drive and started out in turners area. Caught a few small specks and sand trout. Moved to south end of lake and picked up a few more small ones. Went to the weirs and fished out side for awhile without much luck. Finally got enough nerve to go thru.we fished just inside and for the next few hours it was solid redfish. Only problem was they were all to big. Finally got our 10 and made the rough ride back to spicers. Fished west cove Tuesday and caught a few specks and got into the reds again. Wednesday we fish turners before we had to leave. Caught a few sand trout and one red. All in all I was pretty pleased with our luck since it has been 20 years since I fished the lake. Thanks to everyone that gave me any tips.
