Types of Mud Tires
I have been looking at some mud tires for my truck. I really like the Firestone Destination MT but i am really just looking right now. If anyone has any other info about the tires or another brand i would love to hear it

How much do you want to spend? For mud grips, you can't go wrong with Buckshots for the price. Just don't get Goodyear Wranglers!!! Those are the absolute worst tires I have ever had and I had 2 friends that have had the same issues with them.

Hell yeah can't wait to take ford for mudding adventure!!!
|
i dont have a certain price but i want something that is good in mud and good on the road as well.
|
i know you cant wait you just want to tear it up!!
|
I can't ever have anything nice!!!!!
|
you read my mind.

I know a few guys that have the **** Cepek Mud Country's and they are both VERY impressed with them.

maxxix buckshots are good. I had gotten 40k out of mine on my toyota. the only thing was the noise. As Im sure with most mud tires, as they wore, the louder they got. Im mostly on the highways,so didnt enjoy the noise,so now I just go with a good treaded all terrain tire.

Yea i saw those, i like those too. I dont mud ride i just need something so whenever i do get into some mud i can make it out. Pulled a buddy out of his backyard for new years and factory tires did the job but tires were spinning. Just wont cut it.

recently i have had bridgestone dueler m/t, BFG all terrain t/a ko, goodyear duratracs
I really liked the BFGs, i know they make a mud terrain tire, may be worth checking out. I've had pretty good luck with goodyear. who knows. a good set of all terrains and a warn winch should be standard on every truck, i need a another winch |

yeah it's on my wish list for sure, I had a nice warn on my old z71 i was stupid enough to sell it. Miss it more than any of my X girlfriends. Only bad thing is people constantly calling to ask for favors all the time. |
My buddy had toyo open country a/t on his diesel and the tread wore quickly. I think if the tread would wear that quickly in all terrains than the muds would do the same.
|
i heard the nitto terra grapplers wear pretty fast too
