New fire pit (Subtle brag)

I made a fire pit when I first moved into my house. Not thinking, I made it out of 1/4" steel and that sucker was HEAVY. I got tired of moving it every time I cut grass and eventually gave it away. I've been promising my wife I would make her a new pit for around 4 years now. I finally got off my @$$ and built her one for Christmas. She said she didn't care what design on it....... Hope she likes duck hunting as much as I do! lol

Very nice Matt! Do you make them to sell also?

Matt G 12-25-2016 08:32 AM

Thanks for the compliments guys! I can make them to sell. I usually make round ones, but I wanted to try something different and went with a square.

Thanks! I cut it with a plasma cutter. I did all the plasma work for my old man when I was in college. Now I'm a desk jockey, but I still mess around with it for all my little projects. I do some work on the side when I have time. It's just getting hard to find the time with my day job and a family.

Does your dad cut metal for outside work? I could send him the DXFs. We have 3 plasma cutters here but only the big wigs get in on that action.
