Lake Fausse Point
Lake Fausse State Park is closed to campers and cabin rentals but boat landing is open. Found dirty water at the landing but clean in Texaco Canals & Pits. Jim & I fished 8 to noon, keeping one 3 lb. bass, lost 2 larger than this at the boat and boated 3 large shoe-pic. but did not keep. It was cold this morn, 40 deg. but was nice when out of the wind.
Be safe on the water and always file a float plan. Your wife may not know where you are, but when she calls one of your fishing buddies, they will know.
