Does a yamaha black stainless tend to be a bow or stern lifter?

Does the Yamaha Black stainless tend to be a stern or bow lift prop? Looking at getting a prop for my yamaha 40hp on my 12x42 alweld and I don't want a bow lifter cause my boat is porposing some now and runs naturaly with a high bow already.

There's 1 for sale in classified for a decent price. on your rig it should run great, pitch maybe to low though. For the price you could get it and have it tweaked for about same price as ordering brand new.

So what you're saying is, might as well buy a brand new one and save the hassle of bringing a used one to someone to "tweak" it.

It is brand new guy ran it on his tunnel and didn't hold water as needed, he's selling for $300, brand new they're $350-$400, the 14G that's for sale may be perfect or may not, take risk of buying new and still having to tweak. Just my opinion...

I am getting that 14p black stainless Thur, figure i can get most of my money back of its a flop. I prolly could turn a 15 or 16p on a 12x42, but I dont mind being to low pitch and like fast planing in shallow. I am not retarded and will not be driving it on the Rev limiter all day and blow it up, I can hear over rev. Chances are I step up to a 15x42 and will still be covered.

Prolly sell my current prop for $150 to someone who needs a bow lifting raked prop.
