Trailer tire help
 

I'm having a tough time finding a good American made trailer .
Can anyone help with there trailer tire experiences. I need to replace tires and would like to find some solid tires that will last. I've looked into several brands just a lot of mixed views/experiences. TIA for any help.

Kuhmo tires are very good. Not American made but best reviews I could find when I needed new tires

I fought with several sets of Carlisle and a few other "China Bombs". Tires cupping and uneven wear. Blew more wheel bearings than I care to mention. Had trailer checked for alignment/squareness and any other issues and none found. Almost every tire shop will say trailer tires don't need balancing, well after buying a set of Kenda Karrier 6ply radials and having them balanced I have had ZERO ISSUES in over 2 years. Tires look exactly like the day I put them on and no more burned up bearings !!! Heard many positive comments about Maxxis trailer tires too.

I balance mine too, have to argue with the tire guys "we never do it that way", but makes sense to me, and I'm paying for it anyway!

I tried to find some American made tires a while back but decided to buy some Interco tires. The wife was passing through Rayne so I had her pick 4 up. So far they are great, fair priced too. Carlisle was the only maker I found but the more I read the more I worried. I have 1 on my new trailer and it looks like a tire off of Mater's wheel, it is wavey. They are hard to find.
