Headed down to Belle Chasse Thursday afternoon for some good rest before our trip Fri morning and got an early start to the fishing grounds, winds were light and specks were hungry. It was all about Lil-c,I let him do all the catching which was done with live shrimp under a cork in the surf.It was supposed to be a two day trip but this morning we were both so tired we slept in and headed home around 9.Good luck and tight lines!!

Awesome job Big C. I love reading your reports, especially when lil C is involved because I know he's going to have that big bright smile on!

Must have just missed you! A friend and I went to Academy on Saturday and got 2 limits in 30 minutes at the corner of the aisle between the plastics and filet knives. Action like I've never seen before and probably never will again.

Maybe next time! :)

Uhhh, I've been reading your reports for a long time Big-C. If this is true, you are by far the luckiest fisherman I've ever seen. I think you have a ton of fishing knowledge, and a ton of humility to go with it. I also think you probably stick to the basics and do what you know works. Many of us spend more time running from spot to spot and tying on different lures than we do actually fishing.

Big C thinks like a fish, not like a fisherman. That's why he's so successful.
