Lake martin in the AM

Took a guy from work out to lake martin after bass. Got 4 between the 2 of us. Not many bites, these came from open water with submerged grass. Buzzbaits and spinnerbaits https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7f3eaa154e.jpg

Nice catch. Place could be a world class fishery if it wasn't so pressured and had a little management.

Possibly. The second fish from the top is the smallest i have ever caught there. Not that I have caught many there, it is usually only 2-4 a trip. But they are atleast 14-17 inches.

There were a good bit of boats there when I got to the launch, dont know what they were fishing for, but they were there for something.

as you leave the boat launch canal, and where the canal opens up into the lake, I've caught bass at the big tree on the right where the launch meets the lake. I hit the tree with a worm and let it drop.
