Saltwater barrier area - 09/22/17
 

Went out for a few hours Friday mid morning. We haven't been out on the water since the Burns closed in august. We fished the river and the cuts near the saltwater barrier. We caught 6 bass and 4 rat reds. Still have some fish in the freezer so they got to swim another day. It was nice to get on the water, but it did get pretty hot. Can't wait for some fall weather.

Nice report! I fished sunday and caught a few nice size bass on jerk bait. I have caught fish right up against the barrier walls on a drop shot.
