I am sure it willl be a 350 Yamaha. Most of the "Great Boat Builders" put Yamaha motors on the back. I remember the other day someone was asking about Mako boat and I heard a lot of negative talk. Well guess what motor they hang off the back of it!!!! One of those ones that start with a "M"!:puke:

actually yellowfin is a big merc runner. the first sea trail will be with a 300 v-rod. i dont know what kind of deal they have with merc but that seems to be their engine of choice even though the 24 bay performs better with the 350 yammy. which is 200 pounds heavier than the 350 merc.

Wow thats a sweet ride...350hp on a 20 footer is awesome
|
I'd like a leaning post in stead of the seat, other than that, that is one sweet lookin boat.
I looked at a 22 Canyon Bay boat at the Houston boat show. Them's some nice rides too.

La read on the 24 bay yellowfin forum about engine test. The f350 smokes the vrod350. It don't make sense on paper cause the merc weighs 200 less and is supposed to have 350 at the shaft but the test don't lie. And comming from a company who boast merc they still put up the numbers on their site. Someone was impressed with the Yama Hama

I agree Ray.....I'd rather stand than sit. Much better option in choppy water.
