all star asr rods

was at BPS the other night and was looking at these new rods By All Star.
they make a 6'6' med/light with a fast tip/, the handle is a spilt grip and pretty short. looks like it would make a good topwater rod. anyone ever try one out?

All star is not as good as they use to be,they are made in china now. Spend the extra 50 and get a castaway skeleton or another american made rod.

I bought a brand new All Star Rod and broke it after a few throws. I was hung on something and it snapped when I tried to break the line off.
I had nothing but hell about getting it replaced. Their replacement policy is almost as expensive as buying a new one.
Read their return/replacement policy online before buying one.
