To Early?

You think there is any where I could find a sack of crawfish? Or still have to wait a few months?

jchief 02-16-2010 03:21 PM

I dont know about sacks but you maybe can find some boiled. I know somebody in Vinton that has a good size crawfish farm and he is only getting maybe 2 to 3 sacks whenever he runs traps.

is it Will heinz? i think i spelled the last name wrong though. Will is a family friend of ours but he normally doesn't sell to the public just restaurants if im not mistaken.

I boiled a sack last thursday. $4 a lb. live plus the seasoning set me back almost $200. It was 4 of us so it was not too bad. You can buy them here in the Bunkie/Ville Platte area but you are going to pay for them.

Shrimp/Oyster po boy form Old Time Grocery is the best. My college roomate worked there and brought home po boys every night that they messed up orders on or people did not pick up. For some reason they always messed up the oyster/shrimp and meatball po boys:D.
