Nothing really. They just are a suspends bait. Takes 1000000x's of patience. And work a heck of alot better in shallow water.

Nothing.......its a crave deal........Like when Mike Jordan ate Wheaties every athlete started eating Wheaties and thought they would be like MIKE:shaking::shaking::shaking:

Corkys are for a special kind of fisherman....so out off all the thousands sold...a very very very small amount of guys will catch on them.....then they will collect dust at Academy for years

Pool Boy 02-16-2010 06:24 PM

I passed on the corky and went to the MirroLure Catch 2000...

jchief 02-16-2010 07:34 PM

Went to Academy in LC today and asked if they had any Paul Brown lures. They got a shipment in this morning and sold out before they could put them out on the shelf. They have gotten 3 shipments in and have yet cleared out a space on the shelves for them. The shipments will be getting larger to try and keep up with demand.

LaAngler 02-16-2010 07:38 PM

w please shut up about these things

LaAngler 02-16-2010 07:45 PM

we need to boycott these baits to get the pricing back down....I'm sorry but 10 bucks for a rubber bait is a joke

just like AR's went up to 1200 bucks now they're back at 700

Reel Bender 02-16-2010 07:54 PM

Current Bid on th ebay $1.00!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cousin-in-law works there and he said the shipment they got last week was only 30 and the people waiting to get there "corky fix" was reaching over the shoulders of the workers that were trying to sort them out. He said it took about 2 minutes and they were gone. He told me if i wanted some i had to get there about an hour early to get in line:eek:...........no thanks.

supercajun 02-16-2010 07:59 PM

supply and demand my friends. just like la said ars went down in price after people realized obama isnt taking away guns. i remember seeing ak47s for 800-1000 when all that craze was going on. before that you could get one for 500 easy. after everyone buys a corky in a few months the shelves will be loaded

LaAngler 02-16-2010 08:01 PM

then when people realize how specialized of bait they really are, the clearance racks will be full of them.

just like the 99 cent tsunami's

Reel Bender 02-16-2010 08:03 PM

Then you buy em up and wait for the lil guy to stir up anudder buying
wave.

:shaking:

ill be honest, i own two original corkies and im still learnin ta work em.im NOT a patient man.these require patience and skill.they are like bruce said, a specialized bait,ya cant just throw em all day everyday of the year.just like some other baits, gotta know when and where ta throw em. but i also agree with the midget, there will be tons of bateaus and bay boats loaded down with people and theyll be throwin corkies under birds and hell even tippin em with shrimp like jordan
