Eman...........I got one of them Vidalia Onion Choppers off the tv a few years back.............Best invertion EVER!!!! Onions used to damn near KILL me, not anymore!!! We cant do this all day, so call now!! Lol

MY food processor makes quick work of onions and other stuff that needs "chopping".

It comes out a little "coarse" on some of the stuff....but a few strokes with a knife takes care of that.

Now if I could just find a better way to cut up a box or 2 of smoked sausage!!!!!!!!!!!!

your gonna think I'm nuts, but an old metal electric fan works........has to have the big motor and the metal blades........it makes quick work of a box of sausage, you only need to chop the last inch of each link..............It does kinda toss the pieces around a bit, but its fun to use!!

onions have to be sliced

To do the soup you have to be able to use thin sliced onions.
A mandolin took me 20 min to slice all my onions. Soup came out fantastic!!!

OK.....I will "bite".

What size blade [10" or 18"???] diameter and what speed?

A food processor........will really make a mess when trying to chop up sausage.

Damn Eman, that's a lot of tears for some soup.
Knowing you, I bet it was some good stuff.
