Tagging System
I will say that catch and release does work!!! After helping with the LSU Tagging program over the last few years I decided to start my own Dart tagging for the CCA and WL&F. I started tagging my own fish in Feb. of the year!!! Right now I have had 12.5% of my fished tagged RECAPTURED this year!!!! I have been amazed how fast some grow and their travels from places I tagged to places caught!!!

thats awesome, how about some examples of how much the fish have grown between time tagged and caught again, and how far away they have travelled from where they were tagged?

A buddy of mine caught a fish yesterday that had one of your tags. It was 9" long and had grown 3" since being tagged.

If a 17.5" trout does weigh 3 #.......it must have been weighed on some Texas scales.
A typical average 17.5" trout will weigh less than 2 #.
