Slidell - Rigolets

Does anyone know anything about how the fishing is in the area of the rigolets or further north in the marsh of the pearl? Every report i have read about rivers nearby has said that their rivers are high, so I'm assuming that it is as well. Has anyone heard of anyone catching anything lately? My last trip was after that freeze that killed a bunch of fish. I'm possibly planning a run saturday or sunday. Any suggestions?

I'll b honest with ya... Save ya money and come to the new Orleans boat show. Come visit the saltycajun and SFA booth.
The water is high in the pearl and this north wind ain't helpin. Lake temp is still round 52. We need a week of 70• weather and no rain.
It'll get right soon but not this weekend.

he was using a tequila sunrise ribbon tail worm and fished at least 6 hours, right now from my experiences you wont feel the bite for the majority of catches but you will see your line move to the side just set the hook before the bass lets go of the bait.
