Costa's used for Fratting?
 

Ran across this ad for some Costa's on the Baton Rouge craiglist.


I have some new black polarized costa harpoons. No scratches and look brand new. Would like 80 or the best offer I can get. I got a new pair as a gift and need to sell these asap. Text me or email me at 7133019902. Perfect for fishing hunting or fratting in genaral. Retails for 200

what the hell does this mean? is being in a fraternity now considered a sport? do costa's help you fit in with your bunch of homo frat brothers? help me out

Pretty much a given, if u are in a frat at LSU. U will most prob where a polo shirt possibly buttoned to the top, sperry top siders, khaki shorts, long nappy hair, and a pair of costas hanging around your neck. Even if u have never caught a fish in your life. Lol

It's a shame frat boys have ruined costas, sperry's, guy harvey, etc. I wear costas and sperry's everyday, but I actually use them for fishing too. Most frat boys have never hunted or fished in their lives.

Id like to toss a spook at thier heads and snatch those costas off.... Waste of good apperal.
They take what we use on the water and in the woods and wear it to fit in , find friends or seem important.
But when Ur costas keepers ain't got sweet stains, khakis ain't got blood on em, sperrys ain't ruffed up and Columbia shirt ain't got a tear from a hook..... U just look like a FRAGOT!!

me too, and they haven't ruined them for me, never been one to try to impress people i dont like.

you have no idea how much i hate frat guys, everytime i see them wearing their costas, sperrys and columbia shirt i ask if they caught any fish.

I wear sperrys and my costas everyday too, but i fish hardcore, most of them like you said have only seen the inside of a boat or blind if their friends that they paid for have parents with money

I am part of a fraternity that hates fraternities. I know you are all seeing the hypocrisy but I need to fit in.

I used to manage boaters world years ago and you would not believe how many kids would come in and want costas, stickers, anything with costa on it

if you think LSU is bad you gatta see OLE PISS. Everyone has em and they are roughly 400 miles from the coast.

You know what they say: "If you can't make friends, buy em"

I see the same hypocrisy in all of it...........from wearing Drew Brees jerseys and not being a player to wearing a Nascar jacket and not being a driver...........to wearing Costa's and not being a fisherman...........

Maybe they are just raving fans of the products.........??

I wear cut off blue jean shorts, wife beater tank tops, white rubber boots, trucker hats, and a pair of Costas...

Whats a Sperry?

I remember a sale at Boaters World once. Sperrys for 10 bucks a pair. Ugliest models ever. Fake aligator skin in bright reds, greens, plaids, you name it it was there. Friday and Sat nights you would hear the cars pull up with the stereos and kids would walk in with socks on and would buy a pair to match the bright clothes. The best was when parents would come in as their 15yr olds sent them to buy them sperry billfish. The mom would go nuts when they saw the price tag!

And you have a "Popped" collar..... I seen you!!!

I wear them alot, the billfish. Even my 1.5 and 2.5 yr olds have them. But they have fish slime in their blood!

isn't a sperry that leftover ......................oh not that's a dingleberry.........

I wear costas...I love'm...they fish, they hunt, damn I love'm...don't wear sperrys but If I go on another tuna trip I will have sperrys or the west marine knock offs...crocs are not the safest thing for the slick floor of an offshore boat!!!!!

I'll take this anyday over the Pants on da ground hat turned sideways bunch

and yes I started an Anti-Frat frat that a few of us on here are a part of. ITs mainly for tailgating but we hold a few other functions

we call ourselves Tri-Kap........
