CORKYS
Well sence ALL this talk about them was going on, when I was at Academy today, they were stocking up with everything fishing and I mean EVERYTHING. Well I got all the popular colors in "Fatboys" and I was just wondering because I have never used one, how do you fish them? Just curious to see how some of you corky pros do it *Cough "W" cough cough* :grinpimp:
|
Just throw it out, not too far, and reel it in as fast as you can.....its that easy!!! Or put a weight 12 inchs in front of lure and bounce it off the bottom......good luck, hope this helps!

i prefer actually using a crimp weight about 12-24 icnhes above the corky. gives it a lil better action.
also, i put a rattle inside the corky (for more noise).the ones without any good color flash i paint gills on them with red paint. |

Fish it like you would fish a Rogue, Bomber, ect for bass, vary your retrieves until you hear the drag screeming and repeat.:smokin: I prefer to chunk it as far as I can, that is usually when all hell breaks loose.;) |
Had a guy wading next to me lick me 12 to 1 on a catch 2000 and i was using a corky.. go figure
|
Was it "BONE" ?, same thing happened to us two weeks ago. We had bigger fish but they had more.
