Day In The Swamp!

Speckled Perch
Enjoyed the day yesterday in the swamp. Good to get out the house and do some sac-a-lait fishing. Pat Olivier and I caught a nice mess of sacs with most being caught right at the base of cypress trees. Grass beds and blow downs produced nothing! The sacs were holding tight right next to the trees. Blue/chartreuse tube jigs did the most damage. Water temps are warming and the fishing should get better during the next few weeks. Will try again in a few days. Good luck fishing.
