1st Quarter almost over.....Market returns YTD:

S&P - 4.4%
Dow - 3.1%
Nasdaq - 5%

Money markets still yielding very little with the FED deciding yesterday to keep rates low again for the time being...Fed Funds rates still at 0.25% They don't seem too worried about inflation.

Most economist are still forecasting anywhere from a 10 -15% return for the markets for the year.

Im doing alright

Personal Rate of Return from 01/01/2010 to 03/16/2010 is 7.3%

I have a savings account at the company credit union. 2008 I made over $100 in interest.
2009 I made just under $7 in interest. And I never pull any money out of this account. I just put money in.
401K is at 2.9% for the year. That sux.

I made 40+ % last year and Feb 5th of 2010 was 10years into my retirement plan......I have a 29.87 % gain avg over 10years...

Worst year was 2008 -4%

I had 3 bad years in the past 26 years. I am doing good over all, just having another one of them bad ones, but at least I ain't negative like a couple years ago. I took a bad hit back then.

I had one year in negative 08...I think we all did but I pulled out all money and put in a simple 1% interest fund. I was down 13% when I pulled it and ended at (-4%),....

I play with mine a lot...move and move to make a dime!! Kind of fun also!!

BUT I have two Pennie stocks up 150% YTD!!!
