Indian Creek

Hey guys, I've never fished Indian Creek and I was hoping someone here has and would be willing to tell me where the shallow flats and good spawning banks are. Just a good bank would be nice that way I don't have to waste fuel and time running around. Thanks fellas.. If you know some good bait suggestions that'd be nice too

Fish the coves to the east of the launch,I would use a suspending jerkbait like a rouge or whatever you got.

Jp Montauk is right, gold rogue, check the points, some run way out & are good to Carolina rig w/ lizard are a 4" fry (4" "hint") back behind the bridges are good also, the one w/ the main creed channel has good flats on both sides also

indian creek in toledo is on the south side on the texas side, first big cove after you cross the dam from Louisiana, very deep, big nice camps in there and some VERY nice fish in the late spring and fall

Indian mounds is on the texas side just south of boons crossing

I grew up fishing Indian Creek, my grandparents had the camp directly across from the very steep and long boat launch by the VFW.

Great fishing in that area, and you can hide from the wind almost all the time.
