I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow also. It will be my first attempt at catching the bugs. I picked up 30 pillow traps from LA Net and Twine yesterday. I can't wait to give it a shot. I will be setting them out in Indian Bayou.

3 foot traps $6.68 per. Price is lower on website but I don't think that has been updated since 2002.

I got one of the maps that showes where ya'll had the stands located.
Wow.....was there really that many stands [hundreds+] in the woods?
I bet a lot of the metal tags are still there along the old trails.

We will be launching in the Dixie pipeline and settng them out there. If you haven't passed by the launch in a while you should make a pass. They put down a lot of limestone which really makes launching there pretty easy. Last year it looked as if some kids turned it into a mud pit and you needed 40 inch boggers to use the landing.

at one time IBHC was the biggest HC in the state
I don't know how many actual acres but i know they could run 3 packs of dogs at the same time and wherever you were you couldn't hear the other 2 packs.
Henderson to the atchafalaya river east / west all most bayou catabla to close to I10 north / south.
yes there were hundreds of stands.
