just completed these 3 grouper, snapper spiral rods for a guy in st george island, blanks are calstar with tough butts xrta hvy duty graphite reel seats "no metal no,rust no, corrision" i tried to show the new ring lock guides, they are new from american tackle pure titanium frame with the good rings, braid will not be a problem with these guys.they also have mushroom caps for sticking them into your hip or what ever for comfort, but the spiral will give you no rod roll or twist.
just thought some of you guys might be off shore fishermen or know someone that is and perhaps you could send them my way.
these calstar blanks will do the job great for amberjack as well as any thing you might encounter, i have built these for the tarpon pros that fish the cut at boca grand, hope you like these beauty's, now comes the part to apply the finish that will take at least a week on these, give me your thought's on these bad boys.
