Questions:
#1. Do they provide shirt with logo's and decal for boat? It states that this is necessary to be in the tournament.
#2. What happens if you have more than 2 fish over 25 in per person? 15 fish daily take and possession limit, with no more than two spotted seatrout exceeding 25 inches total length, regardless of where taken, in a defined area of Cameron and Calcasieu Parishes in southwestern Louisiana.

Our payouts are based are the amount of entries. Guaranteed $3,000 1st place for 50 boat field! We are increasing our payouts and the new payouts will be on our site tonight!

The more boats, the bigger the payouts. As of last week, 6 teams were entered for this stop. So, we need to get some people registered!!!

You must be a SFA member to fish the events. SFA memberships are open to anyone & everyone for only $25 a year.

You have a 5 trout bag limit so you can have 4 trout over 25inch in the boat and one under! This is the only way to keep it legal or move from 5 trout to 3trout...

You also get a half pound bonus for a live trout.

How strict are they on having alcohol in the boat?
How strict is the life jacket laws?
Only reason I ask this is because my dad is hard headed and says he has to be able to have his Miller Lite on board. He will also be tipping a few back, but if I do not drink we should be OK right?

Rules state Life Jacket must be on while outboard is running....... Drugs and Alcohol are prohibited during the tournament

Boooooooooo and boooooooooo..............

Did not know it was a state law to have you life vest on while running.

Purple Back 04-13-2010 07:56 AM

LDWF: - Children 16 or younger must wear a
properly sized and fitted PFD when the boat is underway on all vessels less than 26 feet in length. Smaller children should have a PFD that has ample upper body flotation and a crotch strap, proper fitting is critical.

;)
SFA Rules........ When you have sponsors fronting money to any events they want it to be safe as possible.

All Tournaments follow a standard rule package and they all require you to wear Life Jackets and NONE allow drinking or alcohol on the boat either...

It’s a good rule to have on the safety part.... Sure would not want to read the LC paper that a dunk fisherman enter in a tournament ran over a boat on anchor and killed two people...........Everyone loses then
