The season will start Tuesday the 13th at 8. Figure the first hour will be dedicated to Captain Phil and roll into the new year at 9. Can't wait for tuesday since this is probably the best program on cable.:smokin:

I've watched Deadliest Catch since the first season and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm pretty well hooked on it. I don't know why it is so fascinating - after all, you're just watching a bunch of guys working - but it is.

Part of the appeal has to be the personalities of the captains. Yeah, the work is dangerous and the crew dynamic can be emo, tense, or downright funny. But the captains are interesting to watch. They posess so much knowledge and have so much on the line with every move they make. It is one of the most intense managerial positions on the planet and watching these men handle that pressure is fascinating.......
