Salinity chart

Did anyone notice the sudden spike in the silinity chart this morning.....went from about 8.5 to a little over 12.

Does anyone know why it does this sometimes?

I'm talking about the chart for Hackberry.

Been a south wind for the last few days and tides have not been much different.

I've noticed this before, just wondering if anyone knew why
