Yea Phillip (yellow shack) should have some, I think the name of the place is Bridgeside Seafood but I'm not sure. If he doesn't Tim, try calling Harvest Seafood in Erath, they usually have some nice ones for a decent price.

wtretrievers 04-28-2010 09:28 AM

Bridgeside Seafood on Hwy 14.....685-5607

Dink 04-28-2010 09:39 AM

RD.....thanks, but that about an hour drive........retrievers.....thanks for he number.....

Now who's usually got the better ones? Bridgeside or harvest?

RaginCagin 04-28-2010 09:45 AM

I used to get them when you head out of Lafayette on the thruway going north almost to the Race Track and the seafood place was on the right. They always had good crabs and crawfish. It is called Chez Francois seafood.

They are the bottom of the barrel in my book........didn't used to be that way......I used them all the time in the past, but last few times I've been there to get crawfish I literally had 50% or better dead.........they have signs all over now saying crawfish sales are final.......ill never use them again......

Wow did not realize that. I have not been there in about 3 years since I moved from Lafayette but they used to be good and convenient. Sucks they turned to crap.

They're tip for tap, I don't think you'll be disappointed by either one.

blackmamba 04-28-2010 10:08 AM
