I've broke a few and had some with no issue. The aftermarket plugs dont have crimped on thread rings so they solved that problem. Dont see why ford thought the spark plug needed to be re-engineered. It had been working perfectly before they F'd with it. Its not just a ford issue though. It seems that no matter the brand name there is an engineer wanting to design some dumb sheet stuff. I see it everyday and im like "what the F were they thinking when they did this?"
