Caught bout 15 or so. Kept 5 big bull bream to fry cuz the ole lady don't eat em and I won't eat more than that. Here's a few pics including the first fish in da yak.

I saw 4. From 6-12' they don't mess with me one. It's the brown recluse's that I was worried bout I saw a crap load of them and they can swim

That is one nice yak. Been yaking in every gator infested body of water in south la and had not had a real problem with any yet. Actually a pissed off snake is more of a threat, try to keep one from getting in the yak.

That's where I go in my yak. if you get real still, the gators come up right next to the yak. Have to watch out also for the water moccasins. they like to sun on the wood duck boxes around the lake and will strike if you come too close.

Mos definately! Them gators would hit the water before I got 40-50' from them. They see ppl all the time as long as they don't get fed by humans they won't distinguished you as food

Not far out of the public launch at Butte La Rose I fed a gator half my sandwich one day and every time after I would throw him something to eat. He would then look for me and follow me all around that area.
