This boat also had triple Verado's on my friends boat down in the Florida Keys. It is getting outfitted w/ Yammy's within the next 3 weeks! Those Verado's SUCK!

Same boat,differant color. All of the wildlife and fisheries boats have them now. If your illegal just keep running from them till the motor gives out.

What's up with them? I thought Mercury was calling them the best thing since sliced bread just 2 years ago? I will never own a black anchor again! Last one was the 1997 model that had the fiasco w/ the plastic gear drive for the oil pump......FAIL!

Plastic gears and oil distribution don't go well together!

But, hey, it saved $3.99 on production!

everyone knows you had to pre mix those 2 stroke mercs as soon as warranty is up!

Yammy is good..but Merc Opit is top of the game also!!! Mine has been strong!...I agree Verados SUCK

Yamaha is on top of the outboard industry. Mercury needs to step there game up soon or they will be in a bind. Funny how mercury was using yamaha powerheads on alot of there four strokes as well as tohatsu in the 5 to 30hp range. The ONLY thing mercury is on top with is inboard boats,and they buy the blocks from general motors and make the drive units.
