Ok, I am supposed to take my father-in-law fishing next Sunday. I've heard that Cocodrie's Islands are pretty good. I guess that'll work, although I've never been there.
Here's the advice part...
Reading the tide chart, I am confused. It shows high tide that day at 9:18 am and 1.11 ft. Low tide is like 7 or pm. That means it's a slow tide, right? Does this mean that fishing is gonna really be tough there as well? I would like to make his S. LA fishing trip a good one since he has never been and he is coming all the way from Maine (and, yes, he's bringing lobsters!

)! Oh yeah, I'd also like to have a good one myself since I'm out of fish and the last time I got to go, I got STUCK!

Some insight from the regular fishermen would be appreciated!
