they lose paperwork sometimes, I had mine take 4 months because you have to let 3 months pass before you can refile it, stupid burocratic rules
![]() all you can do is wait and keep your receipts. if WLF has no record of it, then make sure you get a copy of the filled out documents from the dealer so you have proof the application is in "process" to avoid a ticket. beyond that all you can do is hurry up and wait. |

I bought a new boat in April of 2014. I received my registration paperwork in April of 2015. It seems that they are a little backed up in Baton Rouge.

When I bought my boat last year I seem to remember it being quite a long time before mines came in.

Bought a new boat last Friday. Went to WLF today to get my number and it took 5 mins. They were busy pushing paper and said that it would have taken 6 weeks if it was mailed in.
