Default Truck A/C

Anybody ever had a chevy a/c blow cold from the passenger side but hot from the drivers side, or know what the problem is?

Oh hell yeah, it happens at the most inappropriate time too.
It is the switch that controls the DUAL CLIMATE control!!
If you fiind a cheap solution, PM me.

If you guys know that that's for sure the problem, send me some years and model numbers. I can get them from the dealer almost 20% cheaper than the walk in customer. I'd be glad to sell a couple at cost plus shipping. By doing this, it increases my purchasing power.

My cousins new chevy does that. It won't do it at the dealer. He pulls over and shuts the engine down and restarts it. Reboot!! It is a diesel.

Mine used to do it about 3 years ago then quite until the other day, the a/c also changes to different vents everytime I stop and go. Some days it works fine but other days it doesnt and its always freezing cold on the passengerside but hot on the drivers

Ray, that is what it is, I found out it is a reboot. Sometimes for whatever reason when you kill your vehicle it goes to a reboot and it defaults to the heater. So next time you start it the heater is on, have to kill it and restart.

Why can't car manufacturers just follow the KISS rule (keep it simple stupid). After years of production your product is suppose to be better, right. I think it's more a case of ' planned obselescense'. They want us to come to the dealer and pay $100/hr. for repairs. And they wonder why the Jap trucks have taken so much of their market share. Makes me furious...
