![]() A little advice....May want to think about turning off your water when leaving town for a few days. Also...Service Master crew are a great group. They were at my house within an hour of me calling and have been back a couple of times a day to check on things. |

Hate hearing that. But it might also be good that you and your family wasn't home. May have ended up with serious injuries. Hope things dry out for you.

Not the same scenario, but you are the 4th person I know that has had a home flooded by a washing machine issue. Wow, that sucks. Good luck with the repairs and thank God for insurance!

I had a 5 or 6 years old hose bust [cold water] during the night and woke up to the kitchen area having 3/4" of water. The water was starting to soak into the Den carpet. Changing a $ 10 hose is good insurance and peace of mind. |
