Thursday Trout Bite!
Dularge Trout Bite!
A great morning to fish with calm seas on the DU! I jumped in the big Skeeter with Capt Marty LaCoste as we headed south to scout a few areas. Didn't take long to find some decent fish as Marty and I started whacking fish at our first stop. Caught most on swim baits and a nice assortment of larger trout and a few reds on topdogs. We made a few moves looking in different areas and found a good school of fish while working a slick. Marty and I were doubling up as the hungry trout nailed our swimbaits. Finished up at 10:31 am with our 50 fish and headed back to the dock. Good reports of great trout fishing has been reported from Fourchon,Cocodrie, Dulac and Dularge.
