abandoned crab traps
I am looking for some advice on whether or not it is ok/legal to remove abandoned crab traps that are washed up in the marsh edge on big lake. The spot I like to fish is strewn with a dozen or so washed up pots/ropes/floats etc (storm/hurricane debris?) that I would like to get out of the way. Am I obligated to try to locate the owner if the pot has a nametag on it? Any help would be appreciated. Thx JJ
