With my original choke in the spread was horrible but it was damn near perfect with the Patternmaster in. The original choke shoots a great pattern with any other shells, just not the black clouds.
I used black clouds also with regular chokes and hated them..I only shoot kent's 3'' #4's & #2's...I have a patternmaster now I wonder if the regular patternmaster will work better now with BC's??? mine is a medium range PM..

The choke I was using was a Patternmaster but not the Black Cloud one. You could tell there was a difference between the Black Clouds and Dryloks.

Default shells

I use Kent 2 3/4 # 6 for teal season then go to Kent 3" # 4 for the regular season. I like the #6 cause you get lots of BB's for those fast sailers and you can really knock up down at 140fps
