Catching a Armadillo

My Father had a problem with them tearing up his flower bed also. He had a hard time trapping them. My Mother joking told him to shoot the damn things with his compound bow so the kill would be quiet. He spent the next few nights in a tree stand on a busy street in the neighborhood waiting for the armadillos to show up. He managed to kill'em all.

You don't need a tree stand.
Sit on the front porch or the tailgate of a truck.
They are stupid animals.

I don't think my old man was hiding from the armadillos. I think he was hiding from the neighbors.

Plus, I think was looking for an excuse to pull out the tree stand.
