I thought about pouring gas down the hole and covering it up. Then i thought about it and it would probably kill all my plants!

My dad been havin trouble wit em. Caught a couple in the traps but the traps or out bout 3 weeks before somethin gets in it. Best way to get em is shoot em. Bout 2 in the Mornin. They are almost blind. You have to seethe traps right next to there hole. Helps wit two traps set together at an angle. Good luck

I have played with young ones before.
I never caught anything from them.
They don't bite.

Make a funnel with your boards. My dad has great luck with cage traps. He makes a big V that will lead them right into the cage. They are blind and dumb and will almost always take the easy road. Good Luck

Board funnels are the way to go,,,at my old house i would set the funnel between the house (Brick wall) and fence...they would walk right into the live trap...Cant catch them at my new house because i dont have a place to funnel them in...They tear everything up

yep, gotta use the funnel method, if your trapping. I prefer shooting them though. Ive killed 3 in the last month or so. Got a customer who has been catching them in a trap, then put them in the pond and drown them, cant take shooting them. "go figure" lol. Ive been killing mine at about 11:30-12:30. flashlight and .22 They have been a real problem flower beds lately cuz of the drought. That ground is super hard right now(till the past day or so) and the only thing thats been holding moisture for easy digging is the flower beds,or irrigated lawns.

My Father had a problem with them tearing up his flower bed also. He had a hard time trapping them. My Mother joking told him to shoot the damn things with his compound bow so the kill would be quiet. He spent the next few nights in a tree stand on a busy street in the neighborhood waiting for the armadillos to show up. He managed to kill'em all.

Oh we had a problem at my house a few years ago. Seems like the cops were always at our house for gunshots at night/dusk. Turns out, .45s aren't exactly quiet. Killed possums, armored dillers, coons.
