That has to be the WORST CURSE there is, First cast fish on that is!, I can't tell you how many times first cast Trout on then the rest of the trip sucked! Now when i make my first cast it's two feet from the boat! Good times with the reds though, nothing wrong with that! Try putting some mayo, blackening seasoning and shredded Parmesan cheese on them reds next time you put them on the grill, good stuff

I usually feel the same way,but a few trips I caught on the first cast were on fire all day. Never tried mayo on redfish but parmesan cheese about 5 mins before it's done is on point!
