With redfish when they are balled up in big schools it's unmistakably and they will eat anything in front of them. It you look for 2-3 birds that look like they are looking at something and just hovering around but not really picking a lot that is usually redfish. Redfish tend to just roam all over in huge schools or packs of 4-5 and just chase bait all over and try to crush it up on a bank but they move really fast and you have to be ready to chase em. Trout will ball up bait and push it to the surface and then the birds join in.
