No offense, but it's customers like that which makes a guide's life a little tougher. Never happy. Not enough fish, fish are too small, keepers, but small. EVERY trip I went on I was asked "what's the plan Cap?" And my response was always "Let's just go fishing and see how the day plays out."
I was happy, it was fun to watch my buddy catch fish and have a good time. I'm pretty easy-going. I was just bored fishing shrimp in one spot all day. I would have been more pleased fishing top-water and catching only a few. Everybody is different, If I was paying for the trip, I would have talked with the guide and asked for a move and some different kind of fishing. It was all good. I know guides have a tough job sometimes. It not like taking your buddies fishing, there are some weird birds out there.
