Deciding on a boat that is the best compromise. We all want a smooth dry ride, but the attributes that give a smooth dry ride also cause the boat to have a deeper draft. With fuel prices being what they are we want a boat to be as economical as possible. Generally speaking, the things that make a boat more economical (less V and a little less HP) also have their disadvantages. Do you value storage or a more open boat? There are always compromises, so finding the sweet spot is trickiest for me.
